She has had next to no experience in the field of journalism but is thoroughly excited to paint rainbows and make art in the journalism community. She loves art of any kind and is excited to help spread truth and love through different areas of journalism. She had applied to Newsroom By the Bay on a whim, not expecting to get in, but since then it has been one of the best decisions she’s made. She can’t wait to help the world become a better place!

She also got a five on the Advanced Placement Chinese Language and Culture test, which contains four sections that evaluate an individual’s reading, writing, listening and speaking skill. In her free time, Callia enjoys not eating dinner at Stanford, not being a liberal and writing in AP style.
